Structure
In order to deliver the Sustainable Development Strategy the University has put in place a system of Governance that will ensure objectives and targets can be met and sustainability measures are embedded through out the organisation.
The structure consists of the following:
Strategic Sustainability Group
This is made up of senior colleagues from the University Executive Team and other areas of the University. This group is responsible for ensuring implementation of the sustainable aspects of the strategic implementation plan and the wider University vision.
Sustainability Forum
This is a larger group made up of management staff from across the University. These staff have responsibility for the teams who will help embed sustainability across the campus via the Environmental Management System.
Working Groups
These groups are action groups covering some of the key areas of the Environmental Management System and will be responsible for implementation at an operational level.
