Teaching Enhancement and Innovation
The Teaching Centre is engaged in a diverse range of activities designed to identify, share and promote effective practice and stimulate innovation in the practice of teaching, learning and assessment.
Our contribution in this area sits alongside and complements work done by many other colleagues – in schools/departments, the Centre for Engineering and Design Education (CEDE), Sigma, the University Library, the Academic Registry and so on – to promote and further enhance the quality of teaching and the student learning experience at Loughborough.
Some of the ways we do this include:
- Support for Schools/Departments
- Quality Enhancement
- QE Projects
- Networks and communities of interest
- Module feedback
- Distance learning
- Personal Development Planning
The University’s Teaching Awards Scheme may be of particular interest to colleagues seeking to undertake project-based work in support of teaching enhancement and innovation.
