Staff Telephone Service
Introduction
The Telephone Services Team in Marketing and Communications provides front line services for the University telephone system, in partnership with IT Services which operates the technical infrastructure. Please mail the Telephone Service Telephone.Services@lboro.ac.uk with all matters relating to telephones.
University Handsets provide local call handling functions; these only work on campus. The Voicemail system is available on campus, and allows for a range of automatic response handling. A searchable on-line version of the internal telephone directoryis available (to on-campus users).
If you are accessing this from off campus, then private University information such as the Staff Telephone directory must be accessed via the Remote Working Portal https://vpn.lboro.ac.uk.
IT Services manages and runs the University telephone system. Please mail the Service Desk on IT.Services@lboro.ac.uk with all matters relating to:
- the installation of new telephone lines.
- alterations to existing telephone lines.
- metering of telephone extensions.

Operational hours of the switchboard are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday.
