Macintosh Summary
Introduction
IT Services only provide support for Macintosh users of OS X versions where support is provided by Apple.
These steps will take you through configuring your computer to use the network and network services, and also installing the supported software. If you have any problems connecting, please bring your computer to the PC Clinic, Ground Floor of the Haslegrave Building between 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday during term time (11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during holidays).
HallNet Connection
There are four stages to connecting to the HallNet service:
Once you've connected to the network, there are a number of extra services available on either HallNet or our Wireless network. These can be found under the menu item and include Printing from Lion or Printing from Leopard / Snow Leopard (to any of our "follow me" printers), wireless configuration, software for students, network file storage and Google e-mail, apps and docs.
