

Process Engineering
Based within the Department of Chemical Engineering, the principal activities encompass many research topics across the breadth of chemical and process engineering. There is a healthy cross-fertilisation and exchange of ideas between researchers, an increasing emphasis on collaborative work done with other universities and industry, and an increasing amount of interdisciplinary research that is relevant to the needs of users of the research output. It is a result of these collaborative processes that leads our researchers to contribute to developments in new products, processes and technologies. In each area there are researchers with international reputations who have made a significant impact in their fields of study. All research is fostered through significant financial investment in human and physical resources, and organisational structures that support and promote the centrality of research.
