Ian is an Associate Fellow and Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Research Interests
Ian's primary research area aims to explore the essential psychological requirements for optimal performance and well-being in a range of contexts. In particular, he has an interest in school-based promotion of child physical activity, and environments that allow coaches and teachers to thrive and effectively support athletes and students. Ian would be delighted to hear from individuals who are considering PhD study in these areas.
