Research interests
- Condensed matter theory: quantum Monte Carlo studies of lattice polarons and bipolarons, dimer models, correlated-electron and spin systems, Hartree-Fock
solution of the Hubbard model, photoinduced phase transitions.
- Quantum mechanics: functional integration and quantum Monte Carlo
methods, the sign problem and its interpretation, classical approach
to quantum statistical mechanics. The Wigner function and other quasiprobabilities, path integral calculation of the Wigner function. Adiabatic quantum computing.
