There are plenty of opportunities to extend your studies beyond Loughborough and the UK during your time as undergraduate or postgraduate student.

Our undergraduate students participate in a range of non-residential one-day field excursions and optional residential fieldtrips to UK and overseas locations. In addition, there are opportunities to spend a year abroad studying at one of our partner universities, working for a year in industry, or gaining experience working with community organisations.

Our postgraduate research students are engaged in a wide range of fieldwork activities around the globe. The choice of location is determined by the requirements of individual research projects but all benefit from the global outlook of the department and the embeddedness of our academic staff in international research networks.
