The Loughborough University Tank Facility

The Loughborough University Tank Facility is housed in the School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering and is operated by the  Applied Signal Processing Group.

The tank's main usage is for acoustic calibration, prototype testing, shallow water systems development, and AUV development.

Gantries:             Two Available both with x,y positioning
One equipped with positional information, Pan and Tilt unit (0.1 degree step).
One other with no additional features.

Oscilloscopes:             4-Channel Digital Storage Scope (Tektronix)
2-Channel Anologue Scopes (Various)
Cabling:             A Variety of BNC and Power Cables are available
Crane:             Capacity 1 Tonne (Available with assistance)

Function Generator:             Hameg HM8130 function generator with PC control and arbitrary waveform generation
Complex Impedance Analyzer:             Agilent 4192A with PC logging system.
PC's:             Various Spec PC's, operating windows 2000, Solaris and Linux, with GPIB interfaces.
Data Recorders:             DAT, RACAL VSTORE, RACAL Store 4(DS), RACAL Store 7(FM), CDR
Filters:             Digital and Passive
Hydrophones:             Reference 70 kHz (B&K 8105), 200kHz (B&K 8103)
