MA students (UK)
Loughborough University Graduate School Full Fee Scholarships
Merit-based and means-tested. Payment of fees at UK/EU rate. Full-time only. Deadline for applications 23 July 2010 (after offer has been made). Application form available online.
Loughborough University UK/EU Alumni Bursary
£1,000 part-fees, for full-time study. Automatically awarded to all alumni who are offered a place.
Departmental Graduate School Bursary
£1,000 part-fees, for full-time study. Automatically awarded to all non-alumni who are offered a place.
Departmental Bursary
£500 per annum part-fees, for part-time study. Automatically awarded to all part-time students offered a place.
MA students (EU)
Funding as above, with the exception of the Full Fee Scholarship.
Santander-Abbey Postgraduate Scholarship
Five available University-wide. Worth £5,000. Excellent academic record required. Student must be permanent resident of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Uruguay or Venezuela. Application form available online, deadline 23 July 2010.

Loughborough University Graduate School International Scholarships
100+ of these available University-wide. Based on outstanding academic achievement. Worth 25% of international fee. Department makes decision based on application form.
Loughborough University Graduate School Development Trust Africa Scholarships
Maximum of six available University-wide. Full international fee paid. Based on outstanding academic achievement. Student must show that he/she will return to home country upon completion of course, and will make significant contribution to their home country upon their return. Application form available online, deadline 29 April 2010.

Departmental Graduate School Bursary
20% part-payment of international fee. Awarded to all full-time international students offered a place.

Music Award – applications via Arts Centre. Three available University-wide. Worth £500, deadline 9 February 2010.
Sports Scholarships – applications via Sports Development Centre – for high level sporting prowess.
Access to Learning Fund – hardship grant or loan available to UK students. Emergency Payments Fund available to EU/International students. Apply via Loughborough Student Advice.

Faculty Studentship
One available per year for October starters. Advertised in January/February, closing date usually end March in same year as date of entry. Applications received by Department, and award based on academic merit and strength of research proposal.
University Development Fund Studentships
Maximum of two normally available per year for October starters. Advertised in January/February, closing date usually end March/April in same year as date of entry. Applications received by Department, and award based on academic merit and strength of research proposal.
Departmental Bursary
£1,000 full-time per annum (max. three years), £500 part-time per annum (max. five years). Awarded automatically to all self-funding students.
PhD students (International)
Loughborough University Graduate School International Scholarships
100+ of these available University-wide. Based on outstanding academic achievement. Worth 25% of international fee. Department makes decision based on application form.
Departmental Bursary – as above (normally £1,000 per annum as international students unlikely to study part-time). Retain flexibility to vary bursary awarded in special cases.
MoU with the University of Sindh in Pakistan
The University may sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the above University, offering a 20% discount on international fees.
