Research Groups

Though research activity within the Department of Chemistry generally takes place with laboratories housing traditional “sections” (Inorganic, Organic etc) the actual direction of our overall research strategy has  recently been restructured around five key groupings.  These groups not only build upon our research prowess but also highlight key national and international strategic imperatives.  Thus they are comprised of individual academics from right across the range of research interests, thereby bridging the traditional boundaries.
